Weather Barrier 1650 Elastomeric Roof Finish utilizes exclusive water-borne, synthetic rubber, Acrylic/Aliphatic Urethane technology in a liquid applied, seamless, surface conforming, self adhering roofing membrane. Weather Barrier 1650 provides the tenacious adhesion, permanent flexibility and ultra-violet resistance of an acrylic, plus the unrivaled durability, and chemical resistance of an aliphatic urethane that is combined to ensure durability. Weather Barrier 1650 has been developed and proven to be a superior protective waterproof roofing membrane for industrial, commercial, residential and agricultural structures.

Features

• Elastomeric: Weather Barrier 1650 remains flexible in severe weather conditions. Elastic and rubber-like, it flexes to surface expansion and contraction,due to temperature changes. It resists cracking even when exposed to extreme high and low temperature conditions.
• Energy Saver: Weather Barrier 1650’s brillliant white maximizes solar reflectivity. It reduces summer heat build-up and roof surface temperature by as much as 60 degrees. Weather Barrier 1650 (white) can virtually eliminate thermal shock and roof movement when applied over metal roofing, a major cause of leaks.
• Waterproof: The Acrylic/Aliphatic Urethane formula creates a closed cell membrane that completely seals and waterproofs. Critical areas at terminations, around protrusions and all stress areas can be additionally reinforced to provide extra protection against movement with Weather Barrie polyester mesh and Weather Barrier 1750, a heavy duty rubberized flashing material.
• Adhesive: Adhesion to properly prepared surfaces is outstanding. Additional layers applied to previous layers are impossible to separate. Intercoat adhesion of future coats is great.
• Chemical and Weather Resistant: Weather Barrier 1650 is resistant to common industrial chemicals, acid rain and other VOC compounds. It exceeds 2,000 hours of accelerated weather exposure using ultra violet light and water condensation.
• Lightweight: Weather Barrier 1650 adds only 5 lbs. per coat per 100 sq ft to the roof load. No ballast is required.
