Description

Weather Barrier 1750 is a heavy bodied elastomeric patching and flashing compound. This brushing grade material fills cracks, bridges seams, termination points and seals around roof openings and protrusions. It creates durable, waterproof seams. Specifically formulated to provide extra protection at all critical areas where 90% of leaks occur.

Weather Barrier 1750 used with Weather Barrier polyester mesh creates extra reinforcement to structural stress areas. As these expand and contract in response to various weather conditions, so will Weather Barrier 1750. It is elastomeric and tough, remaining flexible in weather down to -20ºF.

Features

• Elastomeric: The rubber-like consistency of Weather Barrier 1750 permits it to remain flexible in the most severe weather conditions, down to -20ºF.
• It expands and contracts with the surface surrounding it.
• Waterproof: 1750 not only fills leaking cracks and seams to prevent them from further leaking, but also inherently prevents leakage by being a waterproofing material itself. It adds years of life to water-tight surfaces.
• Adhesive: Bonds tenaciously to all properly prepared surfaces thereby preventing intercoat leakage and breakdown. The tight bond between 1750 and all other Weather Barrier Products makes it impossible to separate at the layer junctions.
• Reinforced: When used with Weather Barrier polyester mesh, 1750 creates optimal reinforcement for cracks, joints, seams and other high stress areas.
• Ready to Use/Easy Application: Weather Barrier 1750 is ready to use. Simply stir and apply with brush, putty knife or bulk caulking gun.
• Where To Use: Roof seams, termination points, cracks, valleys, raised seams, metal roof fasteners, gutter seams, parapet, over flashings, vents, chimneys, skylights, solar panels, equipment and roof protrusions. Weather Barrier 1750 is ideal for sealing cracks and defects before applying Weather Barrier 1530 Base Coat, 1650, 1655 and 2000 roof finishes or 2010 Wall finish.
